Tonight’s NBA eight-game slate is headlined by a 2021 NBA Finals rematch between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks. We’re considering one prop from this match and two from the other seven.
The pre-game story: Paolo Banchero is having a stellar year and we expect a string of goals from the Rookie of the Year favorite tonight. We’re also backing Josh Giddey to fill out the stat sheet and wipe out Devin Booker’s assist total against a ruthless Bucks defense.

Best bet : Banchero over 21.5 points (-107)
Banchero is a -10,000 favorite to win ROTY honors and it’s not hard to see why.
Last year’s No. 1 pick is averaging exactly 20 points per game to go along with 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
Banchero faced a slight dip in scoring in February – averaging just 16.6 points in 11 games – but he seems to have been back in a grove lately.
He’s crossed that line in three of his last five games and is averaging 24.0 points on 45.2% shooting in that span. Banchero is more than capable of filling the basket, which should be especially true tonight against the San Antonio Spurs.
Spurs have the league’s worst defense (122.0), defensive rating (119.2) and opponent’s FG% (50.6%). They also allow the fourth most points per game to propel forwards (23.35), according to Fantasy Pros.
This prop asks Banchero to perform slightly above their season baseline, but against a team like San Antonio, that’s not asking much.
Key stat: Banchero has cleared that total in four of his last six road games.
Quick Picks
Booker less than 5.5 assists (-104) : Booker’s season average sits just above that line (5.7 assists), but we’re still happy to wipe him out against an elite defense.
The Bucks allow the third-fewest assists per game (23) and have the third-highest defensive rating (109.8). Mike Budenholzer’s team adopted a dog mentality night after night and that’s what makes Milwaukee such a tough team to play against.
The Bucks also allow the second-fewest assists per game to shooting guards.
Giddey on 30.5 PRA (-117) : Giddey has crossed that mark in five of seven games this month and is averaging a near triple-double in that span (17.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.1 assists).
Jacque Vaughn’s Brooklyn Nets are on a nice little radiator, having won five of their last six games, but we’re still confident the Aussie can fill the stat sheet at home.
Giddey cleared that total in four straight games at Paycom Center.
